15th Glenn Murcutt International Architecture Master Class 05 - 19 July 2015

Applications are now being received for the fifteenth Glenn Murcutt International Architecture Master Class, to be held again at Glenn Murcutt's 'masterwork', the Arthur Boyd Education Centre on the banks of the Shoalhaven River south of Sydney, Australia. The two-week residential program, is studio based - indoor and outdoor - and is personally led by Pritzker Prize Laureate Glenn Murcutt, accompanied by eminent architects and teachers Richard Leplastrier, Professor Brit Andresen, Peter Stutchbury and convener Lindsay Johnston. The picture above shows Aboriginal Elder Uncle Max Dulumunmun Harrison welcoming the 2014 participants to the land of his people, Glenn Murcutt is seventh from the left. The annual event has now been running since 2001, and has welcomed participants from over 70 nations.
                                               
 I will need some time to recover and well formulate my ideas about the MasterClass, but I can say, without any doubt, that it was an AMAZING experience!!! I would do it all over again! Is it possible ? All 5 of you are fantastic teachers and I am very grateful for the chance given to me. It was nice to see architects/friends with similar ideals together and pass their knowledge to us, the younger ones.  Also, the group was very nice...and exchanging ideas with people from all over the world is priceless.  I hope that everybody had at least the good time that I had.
