Piers Taylor in England, participant on the very first 2001 Glenn Murcutt International Architecture Master Class in Australia, has won the 2009 Architects Journal Ramboll Whitbybird Small Projects Award (for the best project in the UK under £250k). This award was also won in 2008 by Meredith Bowles, who also did the Glenn Murcutt Master Class in 2003, for his Black House in Cambridgeshire. Piers and Meredith have been organising their own 'Master Class' for students of architecture with Ted Cullinan and others, called the ‘Studio in the Woods’.
