Great Student Summer School 2010

Thirty two senior students of architecture from as far afield as Argentina, Bangladesh, Costa Rica, England, Kenya and Papua New Guinea joined with students from New Zealand and Australia at beautiful Pittwater north of Sydney for a one-week residential 'total immersion' studio based master class with eminent Australian architect teachers Richard Leplastrier, winner of the Spirit of Nature Wood Architecture Award (Finland), and Peter Stutchbury, winner of the Living Steel Extreme Climate Housing Competition for Cherepovets, Russia. Working in groups of four, the participants produced design proposals for a group residential facility at the water's edge in the nearby National Park.
