Glenn Murcutt Master Class 2012

Participants on the 2011 Master Class with Glenn Murcutt at his Simpson-Lee House in the Blue Mountains west of Sydney.

The 2012 Glenn Murcutt International Architecture Master Class has been confirmed and the dates are Sunday 8 July - Sunday 22 July 2012. Due to the high Australian $ dollar, the Architecture Foundation has decided to reduce the fee to AUS$6600 to help compensate and the fee includes the educational program, lectures, site visits, all 14 nights accommodation and most food, but not international or inter-state travel to Sydney. The program will be similar to 2011 and is open to practising architect, academics, recent graduates and some senior students.

As an architect, seeking professional mentorship becomes more and more difficult as one moves beyond one’s own academic training. The GMMC is a rare and invaluable opportunity to find such mentorship and fraternity. The experience will exceed your expectations and give you a rare and indelible opportunity to participate in something truly remarkable. Glenn Murcutt, Brit Andresen, Richard Leplastrier, Peter Stutchbury and Lindsay Johnston provide you a rare glimpse into the meaning, power and necessity for architecture. This truly is a rare experience, which will forever shape you as an architect.
