Applications are now being received for the twelfth annual Glenn Murcutt International Architecture Master Class 08 - 22 July 2012.
The Master Class is open to practising architects, academics, graduates and senior architecture students. It is a two-week residential program that has attracted over 300 participants from 58 nations around the world since its inception in 2001. Glenn Murcutt lives with the participants and leads the design studio along with other 'Masters' which include seminal Australian architect and teacher Richard Leplastrier, Australia's first woman Gold Medallist Professor Brit Andresen and internationally acclaimed Peter Stutchbury. The convenor of the program is Lindsay Johnston, former Dean of Architecture at the University of Newcastle, Australia.
As an architect, seeking professional mentorship becomes more and more difficult as one moves beyond one’s own academic training.
