Ekil Ronningsbaken, balancing artist, Trollstigen Lookout in Norway, designed by Reiulf Ramstad Arkitektur
The Blue Mountains Master Class 10-16 March 2012 with Arizona architect Rick Joy, Richard Leplastrier and Peter Stutchbury, which has attracted some really good quality architects from across Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and Singapore, will address the potential for good sympathetic environmental design applied to key tourist lookouts in the Greater Blue Mountains World Heritage Area. Inspired by the investment by the Norwegian government in the design and construction of a range of spectacular and beautiful architect designed lookouts at key tourism destinations in Norway, this initiative might stimulate thinking in Australia and stimulate action as part of the Tourism Australia ‘National Landscapes’ Program. Some places still available 01.03.12. For information - www.ozetecture.org
