Danish Students Murcutt MC

Four Danish design students had the privelege of joining a BBQ on the last day of the 2015 Glenn Murcutt Master Class at the home of Richard Leplastrier at Lovett Bay (see bottom picture) and meeting Glenn Murcutt and over thirty international architects participating on the program. The students were in Australia as part of the Sydney Opera House MADE exchange program, which is a multidisciplinary Australia-Danish extra-currular program offered to Australian and Danish students of architecture, engineering and built environment design. Each year five students from Denmark visit Australia for 6 weeks, and five students from Australia visit Denmark for 6 weeks, and undertake intensive study of design and architecture, mentored by leading academics and practitioners, and are presented with a challenging design problem to be addressed as a multi-disciplinary collaborative team. This year the five students presented their work at the Opera House on Friday 21 August, and the five Australia students selected to go to Denmark in 2016 were announced.
