Peter Stutchbury Architecture has received an Award in the 2017 Australian Institute of Architects NSW Awards for the Foredune House, McMasters Beach, New South Wales.
The beauty of this house lies in the intimacy of its relationship to site. The seductive section generated in response to the dune setting is a subtle and sophisticated architectural gesture. The built form is modulated in response to light, wind and views of the fragile surrounding environment, which was lovingly fostered through the process of building.
