Nicholas Murcutt Award Taylor and Hinds

The 2018 Australian Institute of Architects, Nicholas Murcutt Award for Small Project Architecture has been awarded to Poppy Taylor and Mat Hinds, Taylor and Hinds, for their krakani lumi ‘standing camp’ in wulkalina - the Mount William National Park - in the north-east corner of Tasmania. Mat Hinds was a participant on the 2008 Glenn Murcutt Master Class and Poppy Taylor was a participant on the 2006 Architecture Student Summer School. The award is named in memory of Nick Murcutt, beloved son of Glenn, who tragically died of cancer in 2011. Congratulations to Poppy and Mat. Photo : Adam Gibson
