Chile Master Class

A rather belated report - Richard Leplastrier and Peter Stutchbury, ‘masters’ from the Architecture Foundation Australia, presented a Master Class in Chile in June 2013. Picture taken in Temuco outside a Ruka a few minutes before the start of We Tripantu (Mapudungun tr: new sunrise) the conclusion of the Mapuche New Year that takes place between June 21 and June 24 in the Gregorian calendar, it is the Mapuche's equivalent to the Inti Raymi.
