Meet the Masters

In association with the Sydney Living Museums ‘Iconic Australian Houses’ Exhibition showing at the Museum of Sydney, April to August 2014, an evening ‘Meet the Masters’ was held at the Museum on Tuesday 15 July 2014. Lindsay Johnston, Convener of the Architecture Foundation Australia, chaired a discussion with the 'masters' Glenn Murcutt, Brit Andresen, Peter Stutchbury and Richard Leplastrier – all of whom are tutors on the annual Glenn Murcutt International Architecture Master Class, and have houses featured in the Iconic Houses exhibition. The evening was attended by 33 participants from the 2014 Murcutt Master Class, who were in the second week of the two-week residential program. The exhibition was initiated by the Architecture Foundation and curated by Karen McCartney.
