An opportunity to participate in another weekend mini-conference and design studio, to again join some legends and some interesting younger architects for a weekend of good architecture and good people all together at beautiful Awaroa Inlet, Abel Tasman National Park (via Nelson) on the south island of New Zealand.  Accommodation is at Peppers Awaroa Lodge. Richard Leplastrier and Peter Stutchbury undertook a ‘Grand Tour’ of the Americas. They travelled to Tucson Arizona to meet up with good friend Rick Joy, and travelled overland with Rick to  present a Master Class at Telluride, Colorado, Sun 2 – Sat 8 June in association with the University of Colorado Denver.

This is a short weekend Masterclass for younger architects, at affordable cost, with seminal and award winning architects. A chance to reinvigorate your career and collaborate with a ‘master’ such as Richard Leplastrier, with some other really exciting award winning architects – in the amazingly beautiful setting of Morning Bay, where both Richard and Peter Stutchbury live and work.

A one-week residential Master Class was held in the Blue Mountains in March 2012 with eminent American architect Rick Joy from Arizona, Richard Leplastrier, Peter Stuchbury and Lindsay Johnston. The Blue Mountains region, west of Sydney, is designated as a World Heritage Area, due to the spectacular scenery and unique vegetation, one of the most diverse eucalypt communities in the world.
